Featured Borelli Offering Free American Flags, In Addition To Services, and Special Hours For Veterans In May

Council Member Borelli has partnered with the Tottenville Historical Society in order to provide new flags to anyone who needs to replace a worn and tattered flag. Visitors will aslo be able to leave flags at the office to be properly retired. Flags can also be picked up and dropped off at the Biddle House, 70 Satterlee St, 10309, on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In addition to the free flag exchange, the office will offering specialized services and expanded hours exclusively for veterans’ issues. The entire staff received special training with the New York City Veterans Alliance.

In addition to these offerings, Borelli is continuing to push for further benefits for veterans. This includes pushing for a property tax exemption for Cold War veterans and lifting restrictions on civil service tests for military members.
