CITY HALL — Councilman Joseph Borelli will serve on six committees representing a variety of issues affecting the South Shore and beyond.
Borelli (R-South Shore) was officially named to the Committees on Economic Development, Governmental Operations, Technology, Veterans, Waterfronts and Mental Health, Developmental Disability, Alcoholism, Substance Abuse and Disability Services during a Council stated meeting last week.

He was also made the whip of the Council’s three-member Republican minority.

“I’m glad to be able to jump right into the business of these committees, and I am thankful to join Minority Leader Steven Matteo in the leadership of our small, but stalwart conference,” Borelli said.

Together, we will continue to fight for New York City.
