The New York State Fraternal Order of Police has joined the NYPD PBA in endorsing Joe Borelli for the 62nd Assembly District.
“As police professionals who most experience and witness the trauma and effects of criminal behavior wrecked upon our fellow citizens, we understand, all too well, the significance of dedicated public servants who possess the courage and compassion to promote the confidence in our government and courts,” said Charles Caputo, President of the NYSFOP.
“I am proud to have the support of so many in law enforcement,” said Borelli. “The south shore of Staten Island continues to be the safest part of New York City due, for the most part, to the dedication of the men and women who protect and serve. I will continue to do whatever I can to ensure officers can continue to do their jobs in a safe and effective manner.”
The New York State Fraternal Order of Police is the oldest and largest association of law enforcement professionals with over 20,000 members statewide. They join the NYC Patrolman’s Benevolent Association in supporting Borelli for the 2012 election cycle.
